Clear terms for subscription plans, resume delivery, data handling, refunds and responsibilities. Read before subscribing.

HerJobs provides a subscription-based resume delivery service designed to connect employers with qualified female candidates. Our core services include resume screening, delivery coordination, and job posting assistance to streamline your hiring process.

By using HerJobs services, subscribing to any plan, or accessing the Employer Dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Each subscription plan has defined limits regarding resume count, delivery timeline, number of job posts, and preferred locations. Plans are structured as follows:

  • Basic Plan: 20 resumes delivered within 5 days; Post 1 job in 1 preferred location
  • Standard Plan: 50 resumes delivered within 10 days; Post 3 jobs in 3 preferred locations
  • Premium Plan: 100 resumes delivered within 15 days; Post 5 jobs in 5 preferred locations

Subscription validity applies for the plan's active duration. Any services requested outside the defined limits (additional resumes, locations, or jobs) will require a plan upgrade or separate purchase.

Delivery Timelines:

  • Basic Plan: 5 days
  • Standard Plan: 10 days
  • Premium Plan: 15 days

Automatic Extension:

If HerJobs cannot deliver the promised number of resumes within the stated timeline, we will automatically extend your plan duration by an amount equal to the delay—at no additional cost.

Refund Eligibility:

Refunds are issued only if HerJobs fails to deliver the promised number of resumes even after providing the extension period. Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete job details provided by the employer
  • Unresponsive or unsuitable candidates
  • Change of hiring needs or employer's change of mind
  • Any other employer-side issue

The free trial plan grants new users access to 3 free resumes to evaluate HerJobs services before committing to a paid subscription.

  • Additional resumes beyond the 3 trial resumes remain locked until you upgrade to a paid plan
  • The trial is limited-time and temporary; specific duration will be communicated at activation
  • Trial benefits do not carry forward to paid plans and are not refundable
  • After activating the trial, users can view delivered resumes and see locked resumes with a clear upgrade path

  • All subscription plans are non-refundable by default, except as explicitly stated in the "Resume Delivery Commitment & Refund Policy" section
  • Unused services—including unused resumes, unused days, or unutilized job posts—will not be carried forward to future billing periods or refunded
  • Plan upgrades are permitted at any time; no pro-rata credit is provided for mid-cycle upgrades (you will receive the full benefits of the upgraded plan from the upgrade date)
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle

HerJobs Will:

  • Deliver resumes that match the job details and criteria provided by the employer within promised timelines
  • Provide basic screening coordination, including pre-checks for candidate suitability based on job requirements
  • Assist in formatting and optimizing job post descriptions for better candidate attraction
  • Provide access to the Employer Dashboard for tracking resume deliveries and job post status

HerJobs Will Not:

  • Conduct background checks, criminal verification, or identity verification of candidates
  • Guarantee candidate selection, interview attendance, or job performance post-hire
  • Schedule interviews or perform in-depth skill assessments/testing
  • Provide legal advice or employment law compliance guidance

As an employer/subscriber using HerJobs, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date job details, requirements, and preferred locations
  • Conducting all candidate interviews, assessments, and final selection processes
  • Performing background checks, reference verification, and due diligence as required by your hiring policies
  • Verifying candidate identity, qualifications, experience, and references independently
  • Using candidate data solely for legitimate hiring purposes and in compliance with applicable data protection laws
  • Securing candidate information on your systems and preventing unauthorized access or misuse

HerJobs is not liable for post-hire outcomes, candidate misrepresentation, misconduct, or any damages arising from hiring decisions made by the employer.

HerJobs follows industry-standard data protection practices to safeguard candidate and employer information:

  • Secure storage of all data on encrypted servers with restricted access controls
  • Encrypted communication channels (HTTPS/TLS) where applicable
  • Regular security audits and updates to protect against unauthorized access

Post-Delivery Disclaimer:

Once candidate resumes are delivered to the employer/subscriber, HerJobs is not responsible for:

  • Misuse, redistribution, or unauthorized sharing of candidate data by the subscriber
  • Security breaches or data leaks occurring on the subscriber's systems
  • Violations of regional data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) by the subscriber

Subscribers must secure all delivered data and comply with applicable regional data protection regulations.

Information Collected:

From Employers/Subscribers:

  • Name, company name, email address, phone number
  • Billing and payment information (processed securely via third-party payment processors)
  • Job posting details: descriptions, locations, requirements, preferences

From Candidates:

  • Resume data including name, contact information, work experience, education, skills
  • Any additional information voluntarily provided during application or screening

Usage Analytics:

  • Usage patterns, dashboard interactions, communication logs
  • Device information, browser type, IP addresses (for security and analytics)

How We Use This Information:

  • To deliver subscription services and match candidates with job requirements
  • To improve product features, user experience, and service quality
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with service providers (payment processors, hosting services) only as necessary to deliver our services.

Prohibited Uses:

  • Posting fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory job listings
  • Misusing candidate data for purposes other than legitimate hiring
  • Sharing account credentials or reselling HerJobs services
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise platform security
  • Repeated violations of these Terms of Service

Suspension & Termination:

HerJobs reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate access for any subscriber found to be engaging in prohibited activities, violating these terms, or acting in bad faith. In cases of suspension:

  • We will provide notice and opportunity to remedy the violation where appropriate
  • Refunds will not be issued for suspensions or terminations due to policy violations
  • Legal action may be pursued for severe violations or illegal activities

Dispute Resolution:

In the event of a dispute regarding services, billing, or policy interpretation, we encourage subscribers to contact our support team first. We aim to resolve all issues within 7-14 business days through direct communication.

If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to arbitration or jurisdiction as per applicable laws in the location where HerJobs is registered.

  • By using HerJobs services, creating an account, or subscribing to any plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • HerJobs reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent changes
  • Material changes to these terms will be communicated to active subscribers via email notification sent to the registered email address
  • Continued use of HerJobs services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
  • If you do not agree with any changes, you must discontinue use of the service and may contact support regarding account closure
